Ken Kolb

Ken graduated from the University of Detroit with a degree  in Marketing and is employed in Sales, but there is a lot more to Ken's story. Ken played Allstate  baseball at Fraser High School and All-American  baseball at Macomb Community College. A knee injury while at the University of Detroit diverted Ken to Bodybuilding. A sport that Ken does well and enjoys. Ken started competing at 36 years of age, winning the Light-Heavy Weight Class in the 2001 Central States Bodybuilding Championships. He was the Overall 2003 Ironman Bodybuilding Champion and has placed in the third, second and first place of his weight class at the Natural Michigan Bodybuilding Championships. In 2005, he became the Overall champion of the Natural Michigan Bodybuilding Championships. Ken's Photos have appeared on the cover of the of the International Edition of the UK Muscle and Fitness Magazine and the promotional advertising for the Fitness USA Health Spas. Ken has two sons involved with sports and he is right there with them. He is the Head Coach of his younger son's baseball team, the Anchor Bay Angels. This team is doing well also, and Ken and his son have traveled with his team to Cooperstown, New York and Puerto Rico. But wait there is more, three weeks before entering competition for his victory in the Natural Michigan, Ken was in the hospital with Spinal Meningitis. His doctor told him that he could not train and compete for this contest. Ken said "no way", and left the hospital to train and prepare for competition. Ken Kolb had this to say, "I want to thank my friends, and family for their support and patience to allow me to focus on this goal. Most of all, thank God."
